Colin Canty is an Account Executive at Hum Capital, where he helps connect small- to medium-sized businesses with institutional capital through Hum’s intelligent funding platform. With a background as a middle market broker, Colin has extensive experience structuring financing solutions across diverse industries—including manufacturing, business services, CPG, real estate and SaaS. He has worked closely with business owners and management teams to identify growth opportunities and align them with the right capital partners.
Before joining Hum, Colin built a strong foundation in enterprise software sales, developing the technical expertise and consultative approach that now enable him to guide companies through data-driven fundraising. His unique blend of financial and technical acumen allows him to bridge the gap between traditional finance and modern capital markets. Based in Brooklyn, NY, Colin is passionate about helping entrepreneurs scale their businesses with confidence and clarity.

Kaare Andersen is a Business Development Representative on the Capital Markets team at Hum Capital, where he supports institutional deal flow and helps connect small- and medium-sized businesses with flexible, data-driven financing solutions. He works cross-functionally across marketplace and direct channels to qualify clients, maintain pipeline discipline, and support efficient capital placement through Hum’s platform. Prior to Hum, Kaare held senior business development roles in private credit and alternative lending, managing teams, and high-volume pipelines in funding across multiple industries. His experience spans alternative lending, private credit placement, and capital advisory, giving him a practical, operator-level perspective on how businesses evaluate growth capital. Based in New York City, he is focused on building durable relationships and improving transparency in modern capital markets.

Jasper is an Business Development Representative on the Hum Origination team. Prior to Hum, he graduated from Emory’s Goizueta Business school majoring in Finance and Accounting. Outside of his work at Hum, Jasper enjoys running and spending time in nature.

JoBeth Abecassis is Managing Director, Hum Financial. JoBeth is a seasoned finance professional with over a decade of experience in venture lending, working capital financing, and small business lending, with a strong focus on supporting growth-stage and emerging companies.

Most recently, she worked at Western Technology Investment (WTI), a leading venture debt firm backing high-growth technology companies, where she played a key role in sourcing, evaluating, and supporting innovative businesses through flexible capital solutions.

JoBeth is also a Co-Founder of Assembled Brands, where she helped build a working capital platform for emerging consumer brands. A third-generation lender, she is deeply passionate about credit and its ability to drive growth for small and emerging businesses.

Born and raised in New York City, JoBeth currently lives there with her husband and two young children.

Michael is a Vice President on the Hum Financial team where he provides creative and efficient financing solutions for growth companies. Prior to joining Hum, he had a wide range of lending experience as a credit analyst at both small data driven lenders as well as larger banking institutions. Outside of his work at Hum, Michael enjoys watching New York sports with his two cats.

Aravind Ganesan, Director of Capital Markets, specializes in helping lower middle market companies secure $1-50 million in private credit. With 8+ years of experience in investment banking and asset management, Aravind brings a unique blend of fundamental and quantitative skills. He holds a Master’s degree in Financial Mathematics from Columbia University, equipping him to navigate complex financial landscapes to drive growth and innovation for businesses. Aravind is committed to helping businesses thrive by facilitating access to the capital they need to fuel growth and innovation.

Jared Byer is Managing Director, Business Development at Hum Capital, where he is focused on building institutional investor and capital partner relationships that expand Hum’s reach in the lower middle market. Jared brings 20+ years of experience in business development, partnerships, and go-to-market strategy — working across fintech, SaaS, and technology startups, and partnering closely with founders, operators, and investors to build and scale revenue. Prior to Hum, Jared launched and led a startup accelerator at gener8tor, investing in early-stage companies and working directly with founders on go-to-market strategy, growth, and fundraising. He also scaled an online marketplace that was acquired by Mastercard, and managed senior client relationships at S&P Global for iLEVEL, a private markets portfolio management platform serving leading VC, corporate venture, and private equity firms. Jared additionally advises companies through Northset Partners, his GTM advisory practice.

Bryant Hill is Director of Investments at Hum Capital, where he draws on more than 8 years of experience in commercial banking and revenue based financing. Throughout his career, Bryant has worked closely with business owners, institutional partners, and executive leadership to evaluate financing opportunities, implement business development strategies, and improve underwriting operations. He values combining analytical thinking with a practical, relationship-driven approach to support sound investment decisions and long-term business growth. Outside of work, he enjoys live music and travel.

Justin Skirda is a Senior Associate on the Hum Financial team where he provides risk assessments, structures opportunities, and makes investment recommendations. He is committed to helping middle market businesses achieve their financial and operating goals. Justin holds his BSBA from The Ohio State University where he specialized in finance. Outside of work, he likes to travel, study emerging technologies, and hit the gym.

Danielle (Dani) Sukharenko is Chief of Staff at Hum Capital, where she supports C-level operations and leads go-to-market strategy and business development for Hum Markets. Prior to Hum, she held commercial strategy and sales roles at S&P Global and IHS Markit, specializing in private markets and data-driven financial solutions. Her expertise spans strategic planning, investor engagement, and operational execution across fintech and capital markets. Dani holds a Bachelor of Commerce in Strategic Management and Information Systems from McGill University. She lives in New York City and enjoys staying active while finding balance through the hygge lifestyle.

Ashley Azouri is the Chief of Staff of Portfolio Value Creation at Hum. She works directly with the CEOs of Hum’s portfolio companies to strengthen operations and accelerate growth. A two-time founder, she has built companies in fintech and consumer products from the ground up, owning everything from supply chain and vendor negotiation to go-to-market. Ashley specializes in building the operating systems that make performance measurable — connecting financial models to live operating data, and using AI tooling to deliver working solutions in weeks rather than quarters. A graduate of McGill University’s Desautels Faculty of Management with a degree in finance, she is drawn to the earliest and messiest stages of company building. Ashley lives in Toronto with her fiancé and her two dogs.

Alec Macrae is the VP of Research and Development at Hum Capital. Prior to Hum, Alec was Head of Data at Upturn, a subsidiary of BBVA focused on helping individuals understand and improve their credit where he led data-driven initiatives and championed measurable product value. Alec earned his bachelor’s and master’s degrees from Stanford University before jumping headfirst into silicon valley as a data scientist and data engineer. Alec now lives just outside of Seattle, where he enjoys trail running and travel hacking.

Matt is one of the Senior Engineers at Hum Capital. Originally leading the developer experience and productivity initiatives, he’s now also also responsible for the new service architecture and tech stacks. Matt previously solved similar problems at companies large and small, from data ingestion pipelines at SlideShare to automating hardware testing at Pure Storage. He collects hobbies in his free time.

CD (Chris Dolezalek) is the Executive Vice President of Research and Development at Hum Capital. Prior to joining Hum, CD was VP of engineering at Prosper Marketplace. Previously, CD was EVP of engineering at Twitch when it was acquired by Amazon and VP of engineering at BroadVision. CD holds a bachelor’s in Physics from the University of Virginia, and has completed his training with the Co-Active Training Institute as a coach.

Elloise Mae Foster is a Product Designer at Hum Capital, creating intuitive fintech solutions that meet the diverse needs of investors and founders. Before joining Hum, Elloise worked with tech startups in the education and advertising sectors, holding design roles spanning UX/UI, graphic design, animation, and design research. Based in NYC, Elloise enjoys exploring the design community and drawing inspiration from the city’s vibrant creative culture.

Michael Foster is the Lead Product Engineer at Hum Capital, where he focuses on building intuitive frontend experiences and thoughtful product features. He began his career developing dashboards for school district metrics and financials, and later played a key role in building one of the most trusted accounting platforms in Australia at MYOB. Michael brings deep expertise in building user-focused products and data visualizations that help users make decisions with confidence. He lives in San Francisco with his wife and daughter.

Roman Kravtsiv is a Software Engineer at Hum Capital, where he builds and maintains backend systems and data pipelines that support scalable fintech solutions. With years of experience in backend development, he specializes in third-party API integration, developing data extraction and processing pipelines, as well as building backend microservices and cloud-based solutions.

Alberto Salguero is a Data Analyst at Hum Capital, where he contributes to financial statement standardization and supports data-driven decision making. He previously worked at KPMG as an Accounting Auditor and at Aon in accounting analysis. Based in Mexico City, Alberto is also passionate about bossa nova.

Greg Bush is a Lead Backend Engineer on the R&D team, responsible for designing and implementing core software services. With over two decades of industry experience, Greg has worked primarily in data storage, computer vision, and autonomous vehicles, for which he has 12 patents. Greg lives in Chicago, where he enjoys biking along Lake Michigan and going to Chicago Cubs games.

Brett Silverberg is an Analytics Engineer at Hum Capital, building the data infrastructure behind the firm’s view of the private markets. He first joined the company as a data engineering and quant intern during its earlier days as Capital, then returned in 2025 after several years working at the sharp end of enterprise data. Before Hum, Brett also worked at a data security startup as a Senior Field Engineer, working with enterprise customers to deploy data security software across AWS and Snowflake. Brett lives in Seattle where he enjoys doing printmaking, video game development, and hiking.

Robert Pellegrini is the Director of Operations of Hum Capital. Over nearly two decades in conventional banking, consulting, and fintech, including roles at Merrill Lynch and KPMG, Robert has built a reputation of leveraging the latest technology throughout the end-to-end loan lifecycle. He’s not shy about admitting he’s “allergic to mediocrity” and it shows in the way he approaches every potential workflow enhancement. Robert lives in Chicago with his wife, and together they’ve summited five of Colorado’s 14ers.

Jonathan brings over 13 years of experience in financial operations and process optimization. He owns the day-to-day operating and reporting functions for the Hum Financial team. Jonathan holds a bachelor’s degree in Accounting from Weber State University.

Chris is an Operations Analyst on the Hum Financial team. Prior to Hum, Chris graduated from the University of Utah’s Eccles Business school with a Masters of Science in Business Analytics. Outside of his work at Hum, Chris enjoys being in nature and playing sports of any kind.

Erylyn Perez is an Accounting Consultant at Hum, specializing in financial reporting, compliance, and full-cycle accounting. With over eight years of experience, she has led teams in general accounting, process transitions, and operations. Erylyn is a Certified Public Accountant (CPA) and holds a CMA (US) certification. She is committed to continuous learning and improving finance functions. Based in the Philippines, Erylyn combines technical expertise with a passion for efficiency. Outside of work, she enjoys traveling and exploring different cultures. A coffee enthusiast, Erylyn finds joy in discovering unique brews wherever she goes, blending her love for adventure with her profession.

Timothy Kim is Senior Counsel at Hum Capital and a member of the Hum Financial team. He provides guidance on legal and compliance matters and works on loan transactions and strategies. Prior to Hum, Timothy was a debt finance attorney structuring and advising on venture debt deals at the law firm Goodwin Procter for over six years. Timothy holds a J.D. from Columbia Law School and an A.B. from Dartmouth College. Time allowing, Timothy enjoys reading historical fiction, as well as instant photography.

Beth Jastromb is a detail-oriented Senior Corporate Transactional Paralegal with an  insatiable curiosity and a genuine passion for secured lending, legal and loan documentation, and problem-solving to ensure successful closings. With 20 years of  hands-on experience across law firms, global and national banks, and private and  public corporations, Beth brings deep expertise in loan coordination, M&A, corporate

governance, legal entity management (both international and domestic), secured transactions, real estate transactions, SEC filings, and regulatory compliance. She loves turning legal concepts into clear, actionable steps. Always asking questions and looking

for a better way to do things, Beth is an early adopter of technology and AI, always seeking smarter ways to streamline legal and loan processes. She is customer-focused and builds strong, trust-based relationships with clients, lenders, and colleagues that

fuel the synergy driving the best results.
